Round Two – Day 72: Plyometrics
I made sure to work extra hard today! My heartbeat was in the zone the entire time, sweat was dripping all over the place, and I had a smile on my face. I figure that Insanity is going to kick my butt no matter what I do, but pushing myself a little harder than usual during these last two plyo workouts might give me some hope. If nothing else, it feels good to work hard. Progress can be a little painful sometimes.
As for life, this is my hell week. I have a final paper, final exam, normal homework and discussions, and I am preparing to move on top of it all. I am not sure how I am going to fit my workouts in on moving day. I will just have to play it by ear.
Tip of the day: Find your motivational fuel. Planning ahead for Insanity has really got me pumped and the mental motivation is actually pushing me through these last few weeks of P90X.
By the way… Glen left a comment today, notifying me of a new P90X program that is coming out in 2011. Apparently, it is a full 90 day program for P90X grads, called P90X: MC2 (standing for Muscle Confusion 2.) Tony is currently developing the program during the upcoming One on One releases, so if you are subscribed to One on One, you will get to preview some of the moves. In addition, the P90X Facebook page is calling for fans to submit their most extreme exercise moves. The winner of the contest will get their name announced in the P90X: MC2 video, before Tony shows everyone the move. (Kind of like the Drea Roll.)
