Round Two – Day 40: Yoga X

After my extra-long workout session yesterday, an hour and a half of yoga seemed short. Don’t get me wrong, I was sweating like mad as usually. It is getting much easier to run through 45 minutes of moving asanas, though. I can remember my first week of P90X when I had to do cobra, in place of upward dog. That quickly improved, but now I find myself trying to sneak in extra push ups whenever possible. Bring the intensity! This isn’t your grandma’s yoga class!

Diet went well today.

Tip of the day: If you find a workout becoming too easy, you can modify it to increase Intensity. Example of increasing intensity, are Hattori’s past comments on Ab Ripper X. Here are a few options for increased intensity:
1. Wear your shoes (if you haven’t been)
2. Buy some ankle weights
3. Do Ab Ripper X in reverse order to trick your muscles.

    Wow didn’t expect you to quote me on those haha..thanks by the way. A little correction: It’s supposedly “Reverse ” instead of “reserve” but I think most people will get the idea 🙂
