Round Two – Day 18: Yoga X

Yoga X was a little hot today. My workout room faces west, so the window draws in the sun and turns the room into a sauna during the summer months. It had to be about 10 degrees hotter than the rest of the apartment. I can’t complain, sweat is good. However, I started pouring sweat a little sooner than normal. Imagine doing balance postures on a slip and slide…. It got a little messy around warrior three.

By the end of the workout, I was wiped out. I went into corpse pose, cleared my mind, and laid there for about 20 minutes half awake. Talk about relaxing. I have done yoga before P90X and have fallen in love with meditation poses. Sometimes you need to let everything go and relax.

Diet went well.

Tip of the day: If you are taking creatine during P90X, or even eating a high protein diet, you need water. Lots of water! I am talking about 80 oz + per day. In order to make sure that you get enough water, treat 1/2 of your water intake as medicine. Chug down 10 oz, four times per day. Drink the other 40 oz casually and you should get there.
