Day 15: Big Pains; Big Gains!

Today is day 15, 1/6th of the way there! Time flies!

I had one hell of a day before my workout. My first MBA course started today and during this first week we have a quiz, homework every night, and a research paper due at the end of the week. I haven’t had classes in two months and was really starting to enjoy life without homework. To sum it up: TODAY WAS STRESSFUL!  

I got out of work and pushed play. Chest, Back, and Ab Ripper X was the prescription. I wasn’t feeling 100% physically, but I brought it the best I could. It turned out my best today was right on par with last week for reps and weights. It was painful, but I pushed through.

Diet was good today. A friend called my desk this morning asking if I wanted to break my diet and go out to eat. I told him to call me back in 90 days.

Tip of the day: When life gets hard. You need to get even harder. I know that the next year and a half of my life is going to be difficult working full-time, completing an MBA, trying to stay healthy, and juggling all other aspects of life. I know that I am going to be challenged. But as the old saying goes: No pain; No gain. Here we go….

P.S. Don’t worry. There is no way I am going to quit P90X, so don’t even start to think that it is a possibility.
