Day Six: Kickin’ Butt with Kenpo X

Well…. It looked more like kickin’ shins with Kenpo X; but that can hurt too!

I learned that I am not the most flexible person in the world, but the exercise was a blast! There was a lot of punching, kicking, kneeing, and blocking. It was a non-stop cardio workout that allowed me to get into my zone and concentrate on form. It was a lot of fun and I a definitely seeing improvements in my endurance and flexibility. I worked up a nice sweat today. I may get weighted gloves for next week.

Also, it is finally Saturday! I got to sleep in a little and take my time while eating meals. The diet went well and I elected not to go to my families house for dinner. I need to build up a little more self-discipline before I put myself in that environment. Tomorrow is my first rest day with Stretch X. I am going to try it out and see how it goes. I am really hoping that it is an hour of relaxation. The soreness was not nearly as bad today, but I could use a good stretch.
